The Seal Society – Cardano NFT
An art-centered project that will eventually provide a utility function to the Seal NFT holders.
To begin with, our story takes place in an alternate universe in which another mammal species seems to be on top of the food chain. More familiar to us as the Seals.
The Seal Society is a project that will introduce us to all six of the seal colonies from which we can extract different utilities. Think of it as the different races that we have but are all under the same human species. To be more specific, the seal colonies are distinguishable by their skin traits. These traits not only tell us the seal colony, but also provide the holders with certain rewards.
Furthermore, it is important to note that there will be a native project token, named $FISH, which will be the main currency in the future Seal Marketplace. Now, this token will be used to purchase merchanside, NFTs and other digital assets, as well as be earned from staking. Quite interesting ain’t it?
Likewise, let’s dig a little deeper into the colonies and their rewards, shall we?
First of all, let’s start with the Sophisticated colony, which will grand its holders an additional staking bonus. Moreover, we have the Agent colony, which is about extracting missions?! Also, there is the Robotics colony, with which you can build NFT assets. Of course, we have the Military colony, responsible in recruiting seal CNFTs?! And interestingly enough, there’s the 9 to 5 colony, which can create families. Last but not least, we have the Party colony, that will benefit from airdrops.
To conclude, having analyzed all the information that’s provided to us I want to add that the whole concept makes the project interesting. However, I see fit to expand the information in the colony section, so that we can grasp the utility side of the project.
There are only a handful teams that are so enthusiastic, transparent and passionate about their product in the CNFT space. And I have to admit that this one belongs to them. Specifically, the project’s lead is all over the place trying to connect, introduce The Seal Society and he’s doing it in a very fun and convincing way. But without further ado let’s introduce the members.
First of all, we have the mind behind the project and the connecting link that brought it all together, Stevie. Stevie has been around in the cryptocurrency space for quite sometime now and his interest in this new technology led him to the NFT world. Thus, The Seal Society idea was born.
Now Stevie, needed an artist and after searching for one in our second home – the internet, he found one in the face of Yova. But nothing can come together without an experienced developer right? And here enters Oliver, the owner of Cardano Makers. Finally, we have Rich, who’s in charge of the community.
Discord & Twitter
The community has been growing in a steady pace but I believe the project has a long way in attracting the CNFT’s attention. In terms of engagement though, I must admit that it is awesome, and that goes mainly for the Discord server. For instance, the team keeps the fire going in there by hosting numerous activities. Concerning the collaborations side, the project is certainly on the right track and according to Stevie, there are many more to come. Finally, it is important to note that the community has been growing in an organic way.

It is important to start by saying that the artwork follows a unique style, inspired by the Rennaisance portraits. Basically, the team wanted a style that is outside of the ordinary and usual but at the same time cool. Additionally, it is worth noting that each holder is entitled to recreate, sell, and use his seal as he sees fit. Meaning that he has full IP Rights to his NFTs.
You can see some examples of the artwork below:
The structure of the website is really simple and kind of appealing from a designing point of view. Also, it contains adequate information about the project in general. However, I would like to see a bit more of that Rennaisance style in the website’s design as well. Maybe use some aspects of that era to decorate it for instance.
The roadmap is simple and straight to the point. The team wants to create a great relationship with the CNFT community, provide awesome artwork with utility and build a brand around that. Also, I am happy to see timelines, which means the team has a clear plan, at least for the short term.
The Seal Society is a project that cares about quality and that’s what we get through their artwork. Also, the team seems experienced and are definitely transparent, which is awesome to see. Additionally, they sick to build connections and partnerships with as many project in the space as possible – a very good sign of a long term project in my opinion.
