The Evil Underlings – Cardano NFT
The Evil Underlings is a Cardano NFT art-driven collection which aims to bridge art with unique & fun utilities.
Concept
In a world of fiction and creativity anything is possible, and in our case we have these little menacing creatures that find joy in causing chaos. They are characterized by their hazardous behaviour and unique appearance, which is highly evilish. Specifically, these creatures are The Evil Underlings and they are here to turn the world upside down.
The Evil Underlings project is one of the few CNFT projects that has a very unique concept and art. In fact this is the main purpose of it anyway – to bridge a high quality art with unique and fun utilities. Finally, even though, we have no additional information about these utilities, by the looks of it, this can turn into a wonderful NFT animation. And of course according to the roadmap at some point there will be a token distribution, so maybe something related to blockchain gaming?
Team
Personally, I love when teams act highly professional and so far into my reviewThe Evil Underlings, have done nothing but that. This of course translates to their transparency level as well. I mean these guys understand that in order to grow further you need your community to trust you. And what better way, other than revealing yourself to the public and not being afraid to stand up for your creation? So, who are they?
To begin with, we’ve got the two founders of the project, Justin and Nicholas – Justin as the artist and Nicholas as the marketing expert. Furthermore, we have, Hadasa, the graphic designer of the project – most likely the person behind the wonderful website. Next, there’s Jiahao, the blockchain and game developer of the project. So, my claims to a possible NFT game can be justified here huh? Finally, there’s Robert, a research analyst specifically on CNFT project. Can this be the man that advices the team on what a successful project looks like?
Discord & Twitter
Firstly, I would like to note that the project is extremely new to the CNFT space, and from what I’ve seen, it’s in no rush to launch at all. Consequently, it still lacks the numbers. However, I can confidently say that if the team keeps up their transparency and maybe even enters some Twitter spaces or interviews, the community size will skyrocket. And my confidence mainly derives from the artwork (see below). Finally, even though the community is small, it is very engaging, which is probably another reason that I believe with time the project can achieve a high status.

Artwork
This part of the project is the main reason I believe that the project is unique, unlike others and definitely can attract a crowd. The whole concept reminds me of the animated movie – The Minions, but with a twisted side of things. Furthermore, the depiction of each underling is very clear, with bold outlines and suitable colors to provide that evil effect. Overall, here’s one additional professional feature to the project.
You can see some examples of the artwork below:
Website
I cannot describe the website nothing else but highly professional as well. Maybe we have no idea what’s in store for us in the future and the game is just a speculation, but this website is very suitable for what’s to come. In particularly, it is accurately made, has no missing information and everything matches the theme perfectly.
Roadmap
The roadmap can be considered informative but to a certain point, because as I have said we have no idea of the end goal of the project. So, I believe that the team needs to communicates a little better on these utilities they are talking about.
For more details check the roadmap here.
Closing Thoughts
The Evil Underlings is a project that follows all the musts for a NFT project to make it successful, at a very professional level. In order to achieve this, the team gets help in a cooperative way from an inside source and I guess that Robert is the one guiding them. Maybe even they are getting some tips from Raqoon as well, who knows?! Furthermore, they are very transparent and hopefully they will start engaging with all the other CNFT projects. Finally, the project has little to no real negatives so far. However, I deem it necessary to at least communicate, where it is headed from a utilities point of view.
