ChainChillaz – Cardano NFT
A generative project that has a unique animal as the main character. And has a deeper goal of donating some of the ADA to a wild life organization.
Concept
ChainChillaz is a collection of Chinchillas which uses a randomized algorithm to generate an artwork, using 120 different accessories. Thus far, I have noticed that aside from its focus to provide some artwork, the project also focuses on a donation to the Wild Tomorrow Fund. For anyone not familiar, it is a foundation that saves and protects the wild life. Finally, I would like to note the importance of introducing us with this foundation in which they want to make a donation to. Because this helps us understand where they stand and gives us a hint as to why they started the project. In brief, we have a generative art-based project with a broader goal in mind – donating for the wild life.
Team
The team consists of four members and thankfully we have some information on each one of them. To begin with, we have Corey, who is the founder of the project. There is a note as well that Corey was the manager of two successful projects on the BSC network. And it would be amazing if we knew which those projects are. Moreover, there is Jordan the Web Developer of the project and owner of the Webbla Marketing Firm.
Furthermore, we have the Developer of the project and that is Haz, a freelancer so far and a first timer in the NFT space. And last but not least, we have the Artist, Nosta, a person that found joy in the world of NFTs and someone that’s here to stay. In general, as far as I can see from the social media the team is quite transparent but they have to prove their trustworthiness further.
Discord & Twitter
Even though the community is pretty small – it has a great engagement on Twitter and activity on Discord. Especially on Discord I can give credit to the team, keeping the interest with a variety of activities. For example, there are activities such as: contests and a lot of games inside the gameroom channel. The only thing that I would have an objection here is the mint date, which in my opinion is a bit rushed. I mean no one is rushing you to launch, so it is better to grow your community, gain their trust and then make a launch.

Artwork
The artwork is a simple vector depiction of a Chinchinlla with a variety of accessories. I have to admit here that the colors are very vivid and show a clear artwork. In particular, I love the details that are used in all of the accessories; This is basically what I mean, when I say that more details are needed – the artist needs to show the work put into the artwork and not just throw a simple color in an accessory.
You can see some examples of the artwork below:
Website
The website is really playful, informative and basically has everything that you need. The design is in place and the theme really suits the project. Finally, I would like to add here that it was created by Webbla, the company of Jordan.
Roadmap
The roadmap as far as I can see focuses only on the first launch and has no plans for the future yet. I guess that this will be it? If so I do not think that a roadmap is needed actually and just the minting milestones are enough. Finally, there is a final plan after the minting process comes to an end and that is the establishment of a community pool (DAO). Specifically, its an ADA pool where the community will decide what those ADA will be used for – something much like the Wize Wizards model.

Closing Thoughts
So this is a project that strives to gain a supportive community but currently it is really small. And thus the launch, if we take into account the active members, is too soon. Also, the team is transparent and very thoughtful, considering the donation they want to make. But they need to work more on gaining the community’s trust. Finally, something that truly stands out in this project is the artwork, which contains clear – vivid colors and details that makes it more enjoyable.
