Cat.Jpg – Cardano NFT
A project that with the help of blockchain technology will educate people on the necessity of helping stray cats and will donate funds on building shelters for them.
Concept
Many of us are often lost in the search of our purpose in life and kid you not that’s the hardest part.
In our case, we have a young artist that was lost in his own search. That search led him one day to a park, where he found an abandoned little cat; the cat was weak, hungry and only needed to feel some love. And it was then that the young man felt he found his purpose – to educate as many people as possible on animal adoption.
The result is obvious – Cat.Jpg, an NFT collection that will use the generated funds to support stray cats by building animal shelters. Furthermore, the team promises some kind of utility for the holders but to tell you the truth I could not find any information on that. So, the utility is either the $CAT token that will be available for holders or we need to wait for the upcoming whitepaper to find out.
Team
Apart from the artist, the team consists of three additional members. And everything points that they all have the same values. Besides, why else form a team?
To begin with, we have the founder of the project and as I can understand an experienced writer, Khasif. Next, there’s of course the artist, Mubi and it is his story in which the concept is based on. Finally, we have Shahzad, the developer and Ahmed, the project manager.
Thus far, the team has shown nothing but transparency intentions, as they have provided us with their very personal social media accounts. But is that enough if the CNFT community is not aware of who you really are?
Discord & Twitter
Now the community is the reason that I asked the above question – is transparency enough if the community doen’t know you? For now, the project has a tiny community and I strongly believe that the team needs to work harder, if they want to grow. So, what are the best possible solutions? First of all, pursue collaborations with projects that have the same goals as you. Furthermore, try to host or talk about your project in as many Twitter spaces as possible. Finally, be active in the communities of other projects. Also, since my last review their Discord server had some improvements, in terms of fun but still needs more to be considered a fun place to hang around.

Artwork
As the concept suggests, the main character of the collection would of course be a cat. Depicted in a very simple way and attached to a lot of different traits. Although, I can definitely see some work in these pieces – I strongly believe that they could offer more, in terms of design. Because for now I get a feeling of an effortless work. Don’t get me wrong but the NFT space is a very competitive space and I am only trying to help here.
You can see some examples of the artwork below:
Website
Now the website is a section that has seen a wonderful improvement. In my last review, I pointed that it has the structure and all the information but needs a more professional look. However, you have to scratch that last bit, because the team heard my suggestion and the result is way better now. Overall, clear, informative and appealing.
Roadmap
The roadmap can be definitely deemed as informative and is adequately displayed. Specifically, it states that there is a fund allocation for shelter building and the launch of the $CAT token. Also, there are plans for NFT staking and a merchandise marketplace. However, there is a missing timeline, so we cannot understand when these promises will happen.
For more details check the roadmap here.
Closing Thoughts
I am sure that the team has the best intentions for the project and their community. But there is still the growth part that needs to be taken care of. Also, even though transparent, the team needs to get involved in the CNFT community more actively. Which I strongly believe helps in the long term.
